Terms of Service
Last updated 27 July 2026
These terms govern your use of SocialGrid (the “Service”), a web application operated by Exen Labs that helps an operator plan, generate, review and publish short-form video content to their own social media accounts. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What the Service does
The Service generates video content using automated and AI-assisted tools, and can publish that content to social media accounts you connect. It also lets you supply your own source video — by upload or by link — and produce shorter clips from it. Every item is placed in a review queue, and nothing is published to a connected account without your approval or an explicit schedule you set.
Your account and connected platforms
You are responsible for the accounts you connect and for any activity carried out through them. When you connect a third-party account — such as YouTube or TikTok — you authorise the Service to act on that account only to the extent needed to publish content you have approved, and to read the basic profile information required to identify the account.
Your use of each connected platform remains subject to that platform’s own terms and policies, including its rules on automated posting, disclosure of AI-generated media, music licensing and prohibited content. Where these terms and a platform’s terms conflict, the platform’s terms govern your use of that platform. You may disconnect an account at any time, which revokes the Service’s access to it.
Content you supply
You keep ownership of the source material you upload or link, and of the output produced from it. You are responsible for having the rights to use that material, including any music, footage, trademarks or likenesses it contains, and for the content you choose to publish.
You must not use the Service to:
- publish material you do not have the rights to use;
- impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with one;
- create or distribute unlawful, deceptive, harassing or infringing content;
- post to an account you are not authorised to operate;
- circumvent the rate limits, review step or platform restrictions built into the Service.
AI-generated output
Parts of the Service use third-party AI models to produce scripts, imagery, voiceover, captions and clip selections. Output may be inaccurate, may not match your intent and is not reviewed by us. The review queue exists precisely because output needs a human decision before it is published — you are responsible for checking anything before approving it, including whether the destination platform requires it to be labelled as AI-generated.
Availability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis with no warranty of any kind. It depends on third-party providers for storage, AI generation and publishing, and those providers can change, rate-limit or fail independently of us. We do not guarantee that generation will succeed, that publishing will happen at a scheduled time, or that content or data will be retained indefinitely.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Exen Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost content, or loss arising from content you published, a failed or delayed publication, or action taken against your account by a third-party platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Charges from third parties
The Service consumes paid third-party APIs for AI generation, transcription and storage. Where you supply your own credentials or credit for those providers, their charges are yours, and their pricing and quotas are set by them rather than by us.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or withdraw access where use breaches these terms, risks the security of the Service, or would put a connected platform’s API access at risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
